The Driving School "Boutlas Achilleas" in Larissa offers specialized training for obtaining the Certificate of Professional Competence (PEI) for professional drivers, trucks, buses and vans. The PEI concerns the initial training of the drivers concerned and is mandatory for the use of valid driving licenses in categories C, CE, C1, C1E, D, DE, D1, D1E.

According to the P.D. 74 (Government Gazette A' 112/18.6.2011), the Certificate of Professional Ability confirms that the driver has received the necessary education or training to drive specific categories of heavy vehicles. The PEI is divided into two categories:

Transport of Goods (Trucks) PEI: It concerns drivers who drive vehicles of categories C1, C1+E, C or C+E.
PEI for Passenger Transport (Buses): It concerns drivers who drive vehicles of categories D1, D1+E, D or D+E.

Our School offers refresher courses on heavy vehicle driving, legislation, modern transport concepts and new skills development. These courses are addressed to professional drivers who hold a driving license before certain dates, according to article 1 of the PD. 74.

In addition, the courses include periodic theoretical training, without the need for an exam, in order for professional drivers to maintain their professional competence and be aware of the latest developments in the transport sector.
